The National Student Survey (NSS) has opened for B&FC eligible HE students to complete. Prompts to complete the survey will be sent periodically to eligible students by Ipsos (an independent research company) and B&FC up until the close of the survey 30 April 2025. Calls from Ipsos will come from Edinburgh (0131).
As with previous years we want to assure students who are receiving these prompts that these are not spam. The NSS is your chance have your say on your course experience from the teaching on your course, access to resources and equipment, and even about the student voice.
To be eligible to fill in the NSS you must be a level 5 foundation degree or level 6 honours degree student or apprentice (not including top ups or students who have completed a Cert HE). To complete the survey, go to www.thestudentsurvey.com . Have your student ID and date of birth handy to login in.
If you receive an invite to survey from B&FC or Ipsos, this year will be your only chance to complete the survey – you will not be invited next year, even if you plan to continue your studies with B&FC.
